PreciseFlex SCARA RobotsThe PreciseFlex 1300/1400 SCARA Robots and the new PreciseFlex 400 SCARA Robots are intended for light payload material handling and assembly applications in the life sciences, lab automation, medical products, semiconductor, electronics, and automotive industries. Optimized for Life Science Applications Novel designs and powerful vision-guided controls enable both the 400 series robots and the 1300/1400 series robots to service several linear or curved rows of stacked storage locations (a "hotel") that need not be directly in-line with the robots' base. This allows system developers to make the most effective use of their work areas, reducing the space requirements and cost of the work cells.

Powerful Motion Control PreciseFlex 1300/1400 Robots feature the Guidance 2300C/2400C Controller, while PreciseFlex 400 Robots feature the Guidance 1400B Controller. All Guidance Controllers offer unique free mode teaching aids and excellent capabilities for automatically generating elegant, reliable and repeatable motions sequences. These features permit users to program smooth straight line and arbitrarily complex paths by simply moving the robots by hand to start, waypoint and end of motion positions and letting the robots handle the rest. Combined with a simple, yet very powerful programming language, kinematics for Cartesian motion and quiet, high performance servo motors featured in both families of PreciseFlex robots, the PF1300/1400 and PF400 robots reduce cycle times with the most efficient station to station motions possible.

Fast and Easy Set UpAll Precise robots come out of the box fully assembled. Just plug them into an AC outlet and an Ethernet port and they are ready to work. The controllers, harnesses and pneumatic lines are all built into the robots, so there is no controller integration required, no harnesses to purchase or to thread, and no extra controller cabinets. This results in much less setup time and a much smaller equipment footprint.
